An intoxicated woman's early-morning trip to the bathroom at a local campground Sunday ended up getting a would-be helper into trouble, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 3:41 a.m. at the Lake Piru Recreation Area campground in eastern Ventura County, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
An inebriated woman went to the bathroom and began screaming for help, authorities said. When another woman went to help her, a fight apparently broke out.
A male camper, described by authorities as a "would-be do-gooder," then tried to help out. He ended up using a firearm, discharging several shots into the air in an attempt to break up the fight, authorities said.
The 31-year-old man was arrested. He was released early Sunday afternoon on his own recognizance, according to Ventura County jail records, and has a court appearance scheduled for June 8.Read or Share this story: https://www.vcstar.com/story/news/local/communities/fillmore/2018/05/27/restroom-incident-lake-piru-campground-gets-would-helper-trouble/648766002/Sumber: Google News | Liputan 24 Piru
